I decided on silk-screen printing to create with a stencil136 two realisations: Symbol Życia [The symbol of life] and Matka Ziemia [Mother Earth]. With this technique, I could obtain a print that was full of detail, which was necessary to print an autostereogram. An autostereogram is a single-image form of stereogram that can be viewed without any special optic tools to achieve a three-dimensional depth effect. It
stimulates the brain to perceive a two-dimensional image as a three-dimensional scene. The perception of the coded three-dimensional image is possible due to binocular vision when the left-eye view and the right-eye view of an object are seen from different angles. The brain combines the separate perceptions of the eyes and interprets different distances to points and objects seen in terms of depth.
